and specialty auctions. They are also involved in other sales related businesses such as Brokerage of real estate at private
treaty, Certified General Appraisers, financing, trades, exchanges and restructuring.

land, farm and construction equipment, antiques and household items. He has been a Court
Appointed Commissioner on four occasions dealing with highway, park and sewage treatment
centers condemnation. He has done appraisals and testified in court in Pipestone, Murray,
Cottonwood, Watonwan, Blue Earth, Nobles, Jackson, Martin and Fairbault Counties in Minnesota; and
has testified on various occasions in Federal Bankruptcy Court. Allen, along with the various
companies that he is associated with, do approximately 200 appraisals per year, which range from
simple to very complicated in depth appraisals for condemnation, divorce, estate, etc. He is also a
member of the Minnesota Farm Managers and Appraisers.
Allen is a licensed Real Estate Appraiser in Minnesota, Certified Federal General Appraiser
(No. 4001603) and a Licensed General Real Estate Appraiser in Iowa (No. CG01797). He graduated
from a three year course for the Certified Auctioneers Institute at the University of Indiana. He has
taken and continues to take, educational courses in the State of Minnesota for various real estate and
appraisal purposes. He is also a real estate broker in Minnesota.
Currently, the Kahler Family Association (not a partnership) of Allen, Marlys, Kevin, Ryan and others are
involved in the ownership of about 2,800 acres of farmland in Minnesota & Iowa, and operate or
manage approximately 3,500 acres. They are also involved with John Deere Dealerships. Allen is
involved in the ownership and on the Board of Directors of Kahler of Iowa LLC, B&A Farming, Inc., Lake
Fremont Feeding and Storage, Inc., Farmers State Bank of Sherburn, Sherburn Insurance Agency, Inc.,
Land Services Unlimited, Inc. & Auctioneer Alley of Auction America. Allen and Kevin are also
landowners and shareholders of the newly formed Trimont Wind Farm, LLC.
Allen, along with his wife Marlys, reside on a farm South of Sherburn, Minnesota where they have lived
since 1959. He is a lifelong resident of Martin County.

Kevin started farming at an early age and has had a lifetime association with his family. He is part
owner and serves on the Board of Directors of The Farmers State Bank of Sherburn, Sherburn
Bankshare Group and the Sherburn Insurance Agency.
He and his brother, Ryan hold a 1/3 interest in the Souix-Lyon John Deere Dearlerships at Doon and
Ireton, Iowa and serves on the Board of Directors.
He has 1/3 interest in Kahler of Iowa, LLC, which is a private grain elevator with over on half million
bushels of storage.
Kevin and his family are advocates of good farm surface and sub-surface drainage. They install miles
of tile each year with their own equipment. In 2005 they installed over 20 miles of tile and understands
the drainage systems on farms sold for clients.
Kevin and his family are interested in alternate fuels in agriculture and is a minority shareholder in
newly formed Trimont Wind Farm LLC. With 68 wind generators, they will be involved in selling the first
farm, with generators in place on December 21, 2005 near Worthington, Minnesota.
He has been a lifetime native of Martin County, Minnesota and resides at Dunnell with his wife, Nora,
who has the NK Clerking Branch of Auctioneer Alley. She also works with State Farm Insurance at
Fairmont, MN and places the majority of advertising for the Kahler Auctions.
Kevin and Nora have two childeren, Seth who works with a testing company in the Twin Cities area and
Leah, who attends the University of Minnesota in Duluth.

involved in the family farm and grain interests,as well as, machinery appraisals and is a partner in an
implement dealership. His wife Janet, is also involved in the farm operation, along with clerking and
auction management.

along with Land Services Unlimited, Inc.. He lists and sells real estate with emphasis on rural property
that includes farmland and building sites.
Doug is a life long resident of Martin County, Minnesota. He lives on a farm West of Fairmont with his
wife, Lisa and their children.
With his father, Harland Wedel, Doug farms approximately 800 acres and owning one of the farms he
operates.
Doug has fulfilled all the educational requirements to be a certified Minnesota State Appraiser (No.
20001136).

courses. Dave and his wife Susan have been married 38 years and have two sons, David and Mark.
